Role: Project Manager – SAP PP/DS
Location: Mexico (100% Remote, with potential collaboration across regions)
Employment Type: Contract (12 months+, extension possible)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with SAP PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) implementation experience to lead and manage SAP supply chain planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven success managing end‑to‑end SAP PP/DS implementations within SAP S/4HANA landscapes, working closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, system integrators, and business users.

This role requires strong project governance skills, hands‑on understanding of SAP PP/DS processes, and the ability to effectively communicate in both Spanish and English.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Governance

• Lead end‑to‑end SAP PP/DS implementation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
• Own project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Establish and manage project governance, status reporting, and executive communication.

SAP PP/DS Program Management

• Manage SAP PP/DS solution delivery covering:
• • Production Planning
  • Capacity Planning
  • Detailed Scheduling
  • Integration with demand planning and execution systems
• Coordinate activities across functional, technical, and integration teams to ensure on‑time delivery.

Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, technical teams, and system integrators.
• Translate business objectives into executable project plans and milestones.
• Facilitate workshops and project discussions with Spanish‑speaking stakeholders.

Integration & Architecture Oversight

• Oversee PP/DS integration with other SAP modules, including:
• • MM
  • SD
  • EWM
  • IBP
  • APO (where applicable)
• Ensure alignment with SAP S/4HANA architecture, enterprise standards, and best practices.

Quality, Testing & Deployment

• Manage testing phases including:
• • Unit Testing
  • System Integration Testing (SIT)
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Oversee cutover planning, deployment activities, and post‑go‑live stabilization.

Team Leadership & Communication

• Coordinate internal and external SAP resources, including functional consultants and offshore teams.
• Provide clear direction, remove blockers, and ensure accountability across project teams.
• Mentor junior team members and promote delivery excellence.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP project management experience with at least one full SAP PP/DS implementation
• Strong understanding of SAP PP/DS processes and S/4HANA supply chain planning concepts
• Proven experience managing complex, global SAP implementations
• Hands‑on experience coordinating SAP PP/DS integration with MM, SD, EWM, IBP, and APO
• Strong project management skills (Waterfall / Agile / Hybrid methods)
• Excellent stakeholder communication and vendor management skills
• Fluency in Spanish and English (mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile PM certification
• Experience managing SAP supply chain transformations in manufacturing environments
• Previous experience working with global delivery and offshore teams
• Experience supporting post‑go‑live hypercare and continuous improvement programs
